head gasket-how much?

well yesterday was a sad day, the head gasket blew on my zxr how much am i looking at to get this fixed?

the gasket itself is about £12

a garage will charge anything up to 2 days labour to do the work.

what would you say is a decent price to be paying?
is there anything else that might be worth doing while its having this done, to prevent future problems ect?

unless done recently, while the engine is out do the cam chain and tensioner plus valve clearances.
