first problem and guess what....noisy bike!

a kind of rattling sound seems to have started on my bike, the higher you rev the louder it gets, but also when in nuetral, i think. iv read a few posts and sounds as if its either gonna be the clutch or the cam chain but iv been assured the cam chain has been replaced not that long ago so hoping its not that. it doesn't affect how the bike rides or any thing so should i be particualy worried? if it is the clutch does it mean it will need a new one soon?

just brought the bike last sunday, already done over 300 miles on it other than the noise i am more than happy with it though!

does the noise go away when you pull the clutch in? if it does i wouldn't worry.

I second what 'masterofinsanity' has said, i posted a similar issue the other week, i took it to a mechanic, we replaced the clutch bearing and the noise stopped .....for about 30 mins then as soon as it wore in the noise returned, nothing to worry about just a normal Kawasaki ZXR, if it didn't rattle i would be worried!

mines doing a similer thing, going to take it to a garage for a quick diagnosis i think
