600RR OR 636B1H.

Post by SOILZX »

Looking at getting a 600, but not sure wether to go for the cbr or the kwak. Rode a 600rr at Donny last week and was very inpressed.
Looking at '03/'04 models, but the cbr of that year still has conventional front forks and no radial front brakes. It probably makes no difference at my riding ability but doesn't look as good.
Might be along shot, but has anyone ridden both/got a comparisson/preference.
Any information would be greatfully taken on board.
Thanks.

ok,

havent ridden either .. but, know a few guys who have ..

general consensus seems to be that the 03/04 600RR is gutless and revvy, albeit a well made honda with a good topend, whilst the B1h-636 is a mad nutter giraffe that sounds evil, wheelies on demand and gets a bit frisky..

I want a B1H

if i wasnt (still) busy grafting a tuned zx6 lump into a zxr400, i'd have a green B1H.

havent ridden a 600rr, but my bro had a b1h. I loved the thing, really twitchy and rock hard. he bent his frame/ forks very easy tho, but most modern sportsbikes are made of chocolate to keep the weight down i guess...just dont crash her :smt002

it would pull the front up off the throttle in 1st 2nd and nearly third, and waggle its head and bounce you out the seat on the slightest bump, its a great bike..if you like your bikes edgey!
only bad thing, apart from alreay mentioned, is cheap fasteners that corode quickly, and i did'nt like the speedo/rev counter. the speedo is to slow to respond to your speed and you cant see the rev counter in the sun.
id get one if i had the money.

you know the honda will be boring! keep it dark side :smt007

Thanks peeps. Seems you pick up a B1H for less money than the cbr. Know of any common problems?

Well i think you guys have helped me make my mind up. B1H it is! Better get sweet talking my bank manager at the weekend.
second most beutiful kwak, the '04 zx10 holds no1 spot in my eyes, but insurance would butt rape me on one of those.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
