Re: BRNO GP
quote from bbc website
"D'Antin was unceremoniously fired and had his pass confiscated after sponsors Pramac and MotoGP rights holders Dorna finally got tired of bankrolling the privateer team.
After years of complaints from team members over unpaid wages and even unpaid hotel bills (on one occasion the mechanics were reportedly refused access to their rooms), the final straw apparently came when D'Antin treated himself to a brand new Porsche and a yacht.
The news will come as no surprise to Neil Hodgson, who had to endure D'Antin's questionable management style during his ill-fated two years in MotoGP"

F1 can be at least as bad, though - if you read "My Story" by Alex Zanardi, he says about how he hardly ever saw any money from his early days with several F1 teams! I think Senna had the same, too.
Anyway, it's a shame Stoner fell off and tore his petticoat again because Rossi was definitely catching him and I think that would have been a great scrap. Fair play to the bloke, though because he actually gave a decent interview after he'd fell off, rather than sulking off to eat icecream and moan about men or whatever the pre-menstrual princess of Ducati usually does...

Re: BRNO GP
I'm intrigued. Why? There was plenty going on in the race IMO, just not much right at the front after Stoner's crash.rene wrote:Most boring race of the year?

Re: BRNO GP
was a few switching of places and intresting final results but half the pack were just pottering around because of tyres.
Im looking forward to lorenzo getting back on form and mixing the front runners up again. I dont like Pedrosa much but will be good to see him back at the front insted of this two horse race it is currently.

Re: BRNO GP
To be honest I found it a bit boring, but after Laguna Seca I expected that.rene wrote:Most boring race of the year?
I think it was a missable race, but it was nowhere near the most boring this season!
Gotta say I'm hoping everyone switches to Bridgestone for next season...

Re: BRNO GP
Dorna should bring limits on electronics, then see how well Stoner and Pedrosa do. Dont get me wrong they brilliant riders , but i can't see them being so good with tyre management compared to Rossi, capirosiand Melandri etc. Michelin need to sort their act out.

Re: BRNO GP
personally, i'd like to see traction control etc banned completely and a return to 2 stroke 500's .. with a reversal on the decision to replace 250's with 600's.. although ... if they go on to replace 125's with 400's .. i'd be first in the queue for an 80bhp ZX4R-RR
the way things are going in 5 years time wsb and motogp will be 1 series .. and thats just wrong. As things stand, ducati would be well within their rights to race the desmosedici in WSB and indeed threatened to if they didnt get the 1200 capacity limit they needed to make the 1098 competitive.. would have been funny though ..
on another note .. i did find it rather funny that HRC allowed Hayden to go smack himself up in the X-games .. like they've given up on him ever getting results again anyway.
