Cheers mate.
I only used standard spray can from halfords in matt black. But i used a lot of lacquer so it wont scratch easily.
Ive been thinking to powder coat the frame but due to lack of time so i thought itd be the best just to spray it, but im not sure whther the paint gonna last long or not. Just hoping for the best....

I would actually sell my body for sex to over 60's to get on a course like that. What type of qualification will you get at the end?

in the end itd be higher than qualified mechanic as the job will be offered is around racind industry. Like working for formula ford, jedi, etc2....
A few of my clasmates are already accepted to work for ferrari, mclaren and 1 work as racing instructor, and they are only 20 years old.
Its quiet a good course to do....but sadly they dont teach about motorcycle, so i have to find all the informations from somewhere else to finish up my project....that is why im on this forum to get as much informations as possible...

If you open your crankcase, you will be able to see the bushes which sandwiching the crankshaft. The colour code is painted on the side of those bushes.
Mine was blue (see picture).

looking good mate ..

dont forget to match the rubber inlet stubs to the reprofiled inlet ports though or all your hard work will gain you very little.

yeh, between the carbs and the head

easiest way is to bolt them onto the head, then use a dremel to carefully grind them so that the transition into the inlet port is completely flush, then LABEL them so you know which one matches which port.

dont forget to stuff some rag down the ports to prevent fried rubbery stuff going down there !

Fantastic work mate! I've got an H1 as well and am slowly working on making it a track bike. Inb all honesty, I'm doing more thinking about it than actual work. I did manage to strip the bike completely and get the frame, subframe and swingarm powdercoated but have done f@ck all else for about a year. I'm feeling more motivated after reading through this post though.

Keep up the good work and keep the posts coming.

Chazz.
