Help required with Wiring on L3 model

Post by andy427 »

I am having starting problems with my 400 L3. I would be grateful if someone could let me know the correct connections into the junction box under the seat.

It's the terminal for the starting side (Left Hand) there are two rows of 5 connections, if someone out there can let me know the wire colours on each terminal in the plug, starting on the top row left to right from above that would be graet.

Need to sort as she is booked on a track day late next week and she is struggling to start - no feed out to starter solonoid.

THANKS in Anticipation.

Hi there, mines and L3 also, so this should be very applicable!

I have from the top left facing the connector

black/red - green/yellow - red/yellow - white/dark green - lightgreen

and the bottom left facing the connector

yellow - green/black - brown/white - brown/red - brown/black

Hope that helps

p.s.
manuals are here if you need them :smt002

Thanks for the info, looks like the starter side of the junction box is shorting.

Have to search ebay for replacement.

Thanks Again
