Indicator problems

My friends H reg 400 indicators have just stopped working for some reason. I know nothing of bikes so if anyone has any ideas on anything it could be, please help .

there's a flasher unit on the right hand side by the battery, the connector tends to come loose.
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

ye check unit, it should click or soemthing. second i'd try is connections. use a multimeter to eliminate broken wires.
