Hi guys,
Now that the 2 years on my A2 license is nearly up I'm thinking of selling my bike and buying a Triumph Daytona 675, any thoughts?
I'd be sad to see the zxr go, it's been a fantastic bike, but I like the idea of having something with a bit more low-down power and realistically I can't keep 2 bikes sadly.

Re: Thinking of trading up to a Daytona 675
its a cracking bike, i tried that and a 675r, both are fantastic, more power and agility that the 400 it will replace, i really like the look and feel of my 400 and have no intentions of selling it, but if its an either/or situation the 675 is a much better bike.

Haha like I said I haven't made my mind up yet but I'm pretty tempted because I think especially the R version like this one is just gorgeous http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoG ... 675-16.jpg.
Thanks for the link I'll check that site out and that's great to hear it's a decent bike, the engine seems to get praise from whoever I talk to.
The main thing that's making the decision difficult at the moment is that I pay under £300 fully comp on my zxr but that goes up to over £1000 if I trade to a Daytona R Which makes me question whether it's worth it!

Re: Thinking of trading up to a Daytona 675
i only pay £65 a year so the insurance wasnt an issue for me, i think it went up to £200 fully comp for the 675r, do you know why your insurance is so high, im guessing age?
if its down to something you cant control like area, age then i would say bite the bullet and do it, if it would drop massivley in 1-2 years maybe look at something with a bit more punch but is a bit more affordable, like a K5 GSXR600, then get a 675r in a few years when its no longer at prison-shower levels of humiliation
