44 bhp :o
Had my bike on the bemsee dyno, ed out 44bhp running rich as hell all the way through. Switched carbs to a set with corrector jets blocked off, took filter out and runs a lot better so got some dyno time booked on Thursday, will update. Motor is stock apart from base gasket and flywheel/generator removed. Bike is running in sub 64 class so need another 20hp, if all else fails I've just acquired an ex race motor with adjustable inlet , ported head etc. But was trying to save that for running full power next season

Do a leak down test & check your valve clearances. In stock config you should hit 61/62 hp sae corrected.
You must be stretching the throttle cables trying to keep up with that

Nope revs to 14500ish and no washers in Inlets. Will see how it goes with fresh carbs as the fuelling was really bad, failing that I'll have to check clearances etc.

Re: 44 bhp :o
my road bike was 54bhp with terrible fuelling, standard air filter/downpipes/restricted exhaust and a chain that was almost smacking off the rear sprocket...something must be very off with yours
that reminds me, i need to dyno mine now with the 105 mains...

Re: 44 bhp :o
Throttle linkage was catching, sorted that and 55bhp. Exhaust had more holes in than a teabag so just fitted a micron system, I'll get it jetted and on rr in next few weeks and see how much better it is.
