Hi,
to my great annoyance, I just discovered that my speedo stopped working. From my experience with other bikes i would assume its just the cable that either slid out, snaped or got traped somehow. Before i start playing around with it, I wanted to ask if there are any specific speedo problems on zxr to be aware of.
Thanks for any info.

Re: Broken Speedo
Nopes, remove the cable, you will know if its buggered or not.
If the cable is fine then the speedo drive is more likely to be the issue.

Re: Broken Speedo
mine broke on moday, and ive just fitted a £7 pattern replacement from ebay (better than the £21 original from cradleys).
disconnect the speedo cable from the speedometer and see if the square cable turns when you push the bike forwards a few meters, if not you have a break from wheel to cable, if it turns you have a problem in the speedometer.
fyi, mine broke 2" from where the cable slots into the bottom of the wheel, must have just been under too much long-term abuse
