Seriously annoyed!!
So I need to change my tyres on my l5. I got the rear out with no problems, however I then moved to the front. I tried to loosen the fork pinch bolts and snapped my Allen key in the first one leaving part of said tool in the bolt. I have now got the bother of having to drill it out. Grrrr!

Surely you dont need to drill the whole bolt out? Is there not enough of the Allen key remaining to pull it out with grips? If you can get the Allen key out then surely you can use something else? The Allen key attatchments that go on to a ratchet are alot better

Managed to get it out with a good old pair of tweezers. I am going to try and find something to provide a bit more leverage.

Re: Seriously annoyed!!
As you know there are 2 pinch bolts on each fork.
If the left bolt is easy to undo then do it up and loosen up the right one and so on.
In the past I have struggled to undo one of the bolts until i realised that the other bolt will take some of the pressure off.
If you catch my drift.

As I said if you can get the Allen key sockets then do, you can get them in all ratchet sizes, for big bolts you can get 1/2 drive and use a breaker bar, but for a small bolt I would try a ratchet and some wd40 and/or heat
