Top day out :smt003 Surprised there weren't any other ZXRs, where were you all! Pleasure to meet you too Banner (what's your real name btw?!) I've got some pics and a short vid of the kart track I'll post up tomorrow. Can't wait to see my ugly mug in the magazine (not!)

hello chaps, nice to meet you it was. and thanks for bringing the ZXR's down and supporting the Kawasaki end.
The weather was stunning and we all had some good fun. booting it down the strip was good fun.
I had the RVF and the UK spec NC30, interestingly side by side the NC30 pulled away from 70 - 110 then the RVF had it up top.
I have had my RVF there before and it was in the march edition of Bike mag used for the HRC feature, and it managed a real 131mph on the datalogger which was not bad i thought.

I did beep the horn in the van on the way out while you were talking to your car chums to say goodbye. glad everyone got back safe and sound.

pity we didnt get to datalog the bikes, think we started much too late in the day...mine hit 136 on the clocks, gear commander put my revs/gear at 126mph which is not bad, new can and a change of main jets would hopefully see it hit a true 130+

i'd not told the missus where i was, had to try to explain the sunburn too :D

aye that me, nice and slow...didnt wanna fall off :D

although towards the end everything felt a lot better, tyres were allowing me to lean over a lot, a lot more than i was initially comfortable with...problem was i didnt know if i was suddenly just going to slide out...felt good and stuck to the track though...and thats with 2500 miles on the road tyres already.

i have no confidence in the front though, rear felt good, could probably have done with a few less psi in the tyres, but i dont think anyone had a compressor?
