Moron on ebay

Post by beermaker »

ok - the bike is rebuilt (nose needs respraying still but that can wait) everything else works, is bolted on and the bike runs like a bugger. I bought a front brake reservoir on ebay, for a fiver. It's the last part I need for the MOT. I bought it LAST F***ING MONTH!!! IT STILL HASN'T ARRIVED!!! Ok, I've been soft - I gave chances. I've emailed, I've texted, I've called up. I've listened to various excuses. I've had enough. I know it's only a fiver but it's the delay and the inconvenience that boils my p*ss! I could have had the bike tested weeks ago if I hadn't been messed around by this moron. I've requested a refund and I'm back in the market again.

Ok, I'm going to breathe again!

quick question - what other bikes use the same or similar reservoir? Not having a right lot of luck finding one. Sourced a res and front master for £15 plus a fiver p&p but it's only the res that I need :(

Surely the reservoir doesnt matter too much as long as there is sufficient amount of fluid in it?

yeah, I'm coming to that opinion myself! The front brakes work fine, but obv not good practice to ride with no reservoir attached! Found some aftermarket Brembo ones on Demon Tweeks for £9 - they're bottom entry ones but I can make it fit!

On the plus side - I hid in the shed from the kids for 10 mins and vented my frustrations on the end can with some rag and T-Cut and it looks rather spiffing if I do say so myself!!

top stuff- shiney :smt004
as for the ebay i would bang in a paypal claim. i give people 1 chance only and if they dont make contact then a paypal dispute will go in. maybe a bit harsh but i have enough contact with dickheads every day so i dont need online muppets as well.

I emailed him this morning with a demand for cash and he gave me back my fiver :o) just going to order the brembo one from Demon Tweeks now - simple twist of the pipe going to the master cylinder should convert it from side feed to bottom feed :)

As for end can - very shiny but still a bit scuffed. Bit more shed time tomorrow with 1200 grit wet and dry and some soapy water should remove them and then more t-cut followed by some farecla or autosol should get it like a mirror!

Pretty sure the ZXR750 reservoir is identical.
