Ok i think we all agree that there are a lot ofpeople asking questions, and that a great number of them are asking the same thing. I think the solution is to update the workshop section. There are a few things already on there, but a more updated and comprehensive section would be in everyones benefit...the greater good if you wish.
I would suggest trying to keep things simple and informative, list the models that your guide refers to, give an approximate time e.g. from rodger middleton gods (5 minutes) to banner001 noobs (2 hours), and list any tools, extra pair of hands etc. as well.
I am rebuilding my front calipers and master cylinder, plus putting in new braided lines so i will do that. If anyone is doing any maintenance thats not listed in the workshop section, get a camera out and make a guide, and mention what you will be doing here so that 2 people dont put time into doing something twice.
Updating the workshop section-for everyone.

take loads of pictures, it removes all/most confusion, especially if people are using technical terms which not everyone else will know.

one job I have lined up is respraying some GRP aftermarket fairings so will take loads of pics. Will be doing it with compressor and spray guns with two-pack but will be similar technique to rattle cans.

Ok, probably a stupid thing to ask but I'm an engineer, not an IT boffin! How do we upload things to the workshop? Have got some pics and a story to tell about how I repaired my headlight chassis (H model) using a soldering iron, araldite, the aluminium kick strip off a fire door and a rattle can of black paint!
