Race loom
Can anyone tell me why you need the 100 ohm resistor coming from the CDI when you have a race loom? I have never used one, but wondering if I should

Re: Race loom
its to switch off the anti-theft circuit in the cdi thats activated by the removal of the ignition switch.
if the resistor/ignition switch isnt present the engine will spin over but not fire.
this only applies to L models, H's didnt have the resistor in the ignition switch.
I have no idea if its the same on SP systems.
