Re: New l2 project
do the clutch properly, new steels, springs and plates, all kawasaki OEM.
as for the tape on the airbox, it should be 2 small rubber bungs, part number 920661389
on the LHS of the airbox there should be a drain port, this should have a hose attached to it with a removeable plug at the end, parts numbers are 920591758 and 920661211, looks like you are missing yours, not a big thing, but i prefer to have it.

Thanks for the feed back guys, good grease on a caliper re-build makes or brakes it for me, clutch is being replaced I've gone with ebc as I have used them a lot and trust them, I had no idea I was missing any thing tho, I shall investigate shortly

Re: New l2 project
ok so this evening, i had to get the new cooling hoses on and fitted i couldnt fit my new coolant bottle as im waiting for my clutch components to arrive,
i have also removed the carbs to get them checked over by the carb expert at work, then i set about find and removing all speed, power and rev restrictions the clockes were apart and the 112kph tab out then i found the ecu below is this the one i want or not ? Cheers
and with some pointers from other i have some bits to order for the air box

the interesting bit is he had a 33bhp license when it was crashed from reading the file, so the fact it has the full power cdi and no restriction in the carbs begs some questions

Re: New l2 project
I could be wrong, but i think the M CDi gives a 14,800rpm redline, whereas the L CDi gives 14,500? im sure ive seen it on here before?
