Hi
I have one question.
If I ride my ZXR400L4 in the 1 gear with 1000-4000 rpm I cant pick in 2 gear.Gear-box going only in neutral. After 4000 rpm everything is ok.
3-4-5-6 gear havent rpm low limit.
Is that normal or there is some problem?
cheers

Re: question 1 to 2 gear
hello againb bato, that is normal.
there is a special centrifugal bearing in the gearbox that allows you to select neutral easily when standing still, but to go into 2nd you have to be moving although 4000rpm seems a tad high it might loosen up a bit after you use the bike a bit more.
Otherwise its nothing to worry about

Re: question 1 to 2 gear
well i understood it as being a bearing that moves when centrifugal force is exerted on it, perhaps its on a spring? thought you knew that baz, im sure you pointed it out in a microfiche once.

Re: question 1 to 2 gear
all zxr's have it bato. Like i said it helps you select neutral rather then accidentally going into 2nd gear.
