Dan did you use the cam shaft caps from your orginal engine..............if memory serves me right these are machined to match the cylinder head.
And did you check the oil clearance for the "new" camshafts ?

Not everything is machined to the exact same size I'd hate to think you had a mismatch and ended up with even more problems.

the cams measured up exactly the same as the others using a plastigue thingy. I used the cam caps that were originally cast with the head.. god only knows what would happen if i swapped them over shocking
