There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

100 ohm resistor - what wattage?

Post by Alan P »

Am building a race loom at the moment and being a complete idiot at anything electrical isn't helping.

Went to Maplin today to get a 100ohm resistor and was asked what wattage it needed to be. They had them in 0.6, 3, 7 and 10 watt sizes. Being less than a quid for them all I bought the lot, but which one do I need?

Ta very much

I got asked the same question mate and didn't know i had to take my other loom in and show them. but the resister you want is about 8-9mm long with a brown then black then brown strand on it, i think its a really small watts
hope this helps tried taking a pick of 1 i have but its way to small to get a good focus..

1 watt will do the job - so go with the nearest to that
