There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

I am bewildered why you are going to all this trouble :smt017 there are top quality rear discs on ebay atm for £45 and some for £32 from china....they are er6 and are exactly the same fitting...20mm less in diameter...so modify your caliper hanger or make up a new lightweight one with a scooter caliper to suit.

I ran one of these discs last year while racing.

I gave it the worst possible treatment in a practice session at Pembrey and soley used the rear brake to stop for the hairpin :smt005

well it stopped sure enough, i didnt get pictures but it mostly ended up blue from the heat and warped but only barely.. you'd never usually give it that sort of treatment and its so thin that i kind of expected it.

The warping is so subtle, although you can feel it catch the pads while its on the stand, i'll come in off track and the disc is cold so it cant be affecting anything much.

IMO these discs are awesome. I was gutted that i bent the one on my road bike by leaving the disc lock on it :smt013 :smt011

that lever on the right is pretty handy dan :pmsl remember seeing your disc when you pulled in, looked like it had been painted blue. I'm having a bracket made to run a single piston scooter caliper and one of these
