hi , any1 have any suggestions as to why my bike starts and runs perfectly , goes into 1st gear no problem, but wont go into any other gear ???

Hi there welcome to the forum. Could possibly the centrifugal bearing in the gear box. It stops the bike going into 2nd when your trying to find neutral, it should open up and allow you to go into all the gears once your moving. I do believe they can sieze slightly, and i think the only solution is to open it up and unseize it.

thanks for the info mate , i will follow that up. not to clued up on engines/gearboxes yet , hopefully it should be simple enough , cheers again .........shady
