Beet system 2 cans ? ?

Have just purchased a second hand beet system for my zxr can anyone tell me why it has a little alloy canister that connects to the system between the muffler and the 4 into 1 section? It has beet stamped into it, I think it's an original part. Any knowledgeable help is appreciated.

Thanks for replying Rob, I think it's a breather can. Any fumes/blowby or oil will be burnt away. Your thoughts??

No idea what that is, looks like the end can off a two stroke.

unsure what that is i have a beet end can for sale for £70 posted though 52 mill should fit straight on that system i had the same one before

Redexrob - yes it does look like a 2 smoker can, but it ain't. My pic is shite but you can see the short pipe between the 4 into 1 & the can end of the pipe.
