Discs for a zx6 wheel in a zxr front end??

Discs for a zx6 wheel in a zxr front end??
are there any discs that will fit onto an 06 zx636 front wheel but still be 310mm for the zxr400 calipers? zx12 disc seem to be either 300mm or 320mm and the zx6 are 300mm, if i used the smaller discs would i lose out on braking?

See early comments from Mick on lighter wheels thread....Anyway the zx6 front rims run a flat disc carrier so I used early ZX9 discs on ZX6 carrier with floating buttons or you can use ZX12 wave discs as they will bolt straight on.
