There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

new to racing zxr400

Post by l.t.racing »

hello i am new to racing zxr400, been racing since 2005 on rs125 and cb500.

i have got my zxr400 coming mid next week and on the 10th and 11th May i at cadwell doing a few track days, i have raced this bike once be for round cadwell end of last year i was doing 1min 59s on it, its just a stock bike i am hoping to get to 1min 50s or lower on the track days i do.

But my reason for posting on hear is i am after a rear wet and set of wheels i am on the h1 model.

Also wheels is the front wheel the same on all the zxr400s, i think the back ones are diffrent, if some one could put me right on that, that would be brill, thanks very much

alrite mate
the rears and front are different. Im not sure what is different apart from the spindels, spacers and brake hanger, possibly the bearings are spaced wider on the L.. im not sure.
Ive got a set of good condition H1 wheels for sale. 60 squids without discs 90 with good kawasaki discs, 130 with very good ebc race discs

I ended up with some H wheels after being told they were L's. I found the rear the same (unless Ive just been bodging it!!!) but the front needed a slightly deeper tophat spacer. Dont know your location, but my H wheels will be up for sale, I'm in the Midlands if thats near to you , although I'm guessing by your talk on Cadwell you are up North somewhere. :smt002
