
No offence taken....it really is whatever works for you. I don't see the point in bleeding them every meeting or even every half a dozen meetings. To be fair, I do usually do them at the beginning of the season and then 2/3rds or so the way through depending on feel, colour of the fluid, number of races, etc. That usually does for me.
I agree entirely with Tirpitz and I would suggest that good quality fluid with good pads should not overheat the fluid anyway and it shouldn't deteriorate over the course of a season. My F-I-L gets frustrated by the BSB teams he sponsors changing brake fluid every meeting, but team mechanics (and often enough the riders more so) insist on it....waste of good brake fluid he always says, but then he says the same about his engine oil being chucked after every meeting as well and I always change that

All of this said, I changed wheels a couple of times over the weekend and couldn't get the lever pressure the way I wanted it, so I bled the brakes Saturday evening. That's the first time since the start of the season, but it's ironic that it is just after this thread started
