There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

1990 KRT Championship winning bike

Post by Mori Man »

Kawasaki have a factory Museum with some of the most lush bikes they ever made. Last year when we went down to Kobe we asked about visiting but it's not open to the public :smt010 We did however go along the the "Let the good times roll" museum which also covers their heavy industry side too - not a great selection of bikes but some :smt004

However , a fella here posted up pic's he took when went a tour and got access to the factory museum -seems they only do group tours so my mission now is to get into one geek

So, this 1990 bike is described as a ZX400 M :smt017

It clearly has H pedigree and also uses a race version of the H1 swingarm which they also used the same design on the 1st ZX-7 Why its not called a J I don't know

I know somewhere in Suzuka the endurance bikes sit waiting for me to discover them, have seen them in video footage and have the fast dual fillers on the tank :smt007

The ZX-7RR is impresive with 165PS and dry weight of 163Kgs :smt004

Only 30 of these ever made but I bet you can find at least 100 owners of them :pmsl

Love to see some more photo's if you have them. some lovely details on the bikes.
Fairing, Nissin Calipers & the bracing weld down the centre of the swingarm.
Great find.
