Losing Power!!

There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Losing Power!!

Alright guys I had the ZXR400 out yesterday at Knockhill to get my race licence but it kept losing power at top end!! :smt013 :smt013 Can anyone suggest Ideas to what the problem is?

Well, an Engine needs mixture and spark at the right time. Check the fuel filter, fuel pump,plugs,head gasket, induction system (spray damp start around the inlet system when the engine is ticking over, and listen for a rise in revs until you locate the leak).
How about jetting? Have you changed anything / airbox etc?
I would use a dyno to solve this....

Could well be the jetting. Main jets needing to be increased. I presume this is the first time you have run it?
