Warning! Contains photos of a disturbing nature!..... (Bike)
Before viewing these photos be warned! They can cause immense laughter, persistent crying (from laughter or compassion) and long term mental disturbance.
The bike did not die in total vain, it lives on by donating many parts parts to my current Zxr 400.
Enough bull**** :wanker
This happened nearly a year ago now and I've since bought another (better) Zxr 400.
Basically I had a brain fart, opened it up into this corner with nothing going through my mind and by the time I came to my senses and realised I was going too quick I was scraping pretty much everything on my left side, the back let go and I did the worst thing possible.... Chopped the throttle! I had an instant massive highside at about 95mph in which I tumbled and rolled and with each revolution I did I could see the bike bouncing end over end down the road topping a height of about two meters I pretty much realised I wasn't going to be riding that one away
I was very very incredibly fortunate as my bike didn't hit any cars so there was no need to tell the insurance and as a complete afterthought once I'd checked the bike I realised that I was in fact perfectly fine. I was wearing full gear as always but I realise I was incredibly lucky to get up and walk away from that! I am happy to accept, hands up, it was totally my fault, young and stupid but the main lesson is always be thinking when your playing and also crashing bikes is fu***ng expensive
I hope I haven't scarred you for life with images of mangled Zxr 400

You've been using the wrong share code on your bucket , it's the IMG link at the bottom of the options table, I'll sort through it for youSmousley1995 wrote:Please someone tell me the images have popped up because they haven't on my iPad

Judas Priest, you've done a proper job on that
Do not rebuild ! Cracked frame & dented wheel - that has had a shock of it's life ! Well end of life

Yeah it took quite a tumble! It cracked the frame in two other places underneath as well
I stripped it down to bits as a donor bike for my current one.
My current one has off the crashed one: fuel pump, filter and lines, air box and filter, vacuum tubes, speedo, speedo cable, yolk protector, brake and clutch levers, a coil with leads, reg/rec, cam chain tensioner, sump, clutch plates, a few rocker arms, one of the four cam half bearings, the internals of the left fork and the carbs are a mix of the two
so I haven't quite got my money back off it but I've saved a hell of a lot

Strangely I was quite high spirited at the time, probably because I knew I'd be needing a new Zxr and I wasn't overly fond of that one but mostly due to the adrenalineCaNsA wrote:Best Picture EVAR!
I wasn't happy the next day when I realised I no longer had a bike though

You could also have sold it, less dramatic maybe, but financially the better optionSmousley1995 wrote:probably because I knew I'd be needing a new Zxr and I wasn't overly fond of that one
Does the low seat height reflect the low intelligence? Easier to get an asshole onto.

We'll considering the amount of parts on my new one from the crashed one I think I've got back what I could have got from selling it
