New Member Saying Hello

Post by JayQ »

Howdy All,

Though I'd introduce myself as a new forum member and seeing as I have just taken delivery of my ZXR400(L5) today. This is actually my return to biking after a 7 year absence (dictated by wife).

I had two NC30's between 92 and 97 however it all went wrong in 98 though when I bought a brand new ZX-6R and 6 months later wrote it and myself off.

Enough said, this is a monumental day, many years of suffering are now over. Looking forward to the next years biking and posting on here.

Phot of bike below. I'm allready looking for a new can, any ideas on what would match the colour scheme of the bike folks, SS, Carbon, Titanium??

Hi man,

Good to be back on the road aint it. 3 months almost killed me, let alone 7 years :smt010

A carbon can would look good I reckon, Scorpion and Art do them, but Art have gone bust.

If its got a standard system a full Micron or Scorpion may be the way forwards :smt001

Hello mate and welcome to the forum! :D

My first ZXR had exactly the same colour scheme. As for cans i bought a Renegade carbon exhaust fromt he previous owner, looks and sounds here---> http://www.robszxr.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk

Not a bad choice in colour i must say, mine looked alot better with the orange/pink jizz stickers taken off!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Unfortunately I havent even been out on the bike yet, bloody freezing up here, -4 first thing this morning with the roads covered in ice.

Greengoblin, I was actually checking out the track day dates for knockhill just a few days ago. I'll be there for a few events this coming year definately.

C'mon weather!!!!
