Hi All,
My 1999 L9 Zxr has been laid up for quite a few years now and I want to get it back on the road.
Im going to give it a full service (or potientially get a garage to do it), but is there anything in particular that needs looking at/ checking/ changing?
Thanks
Pete

Re: Laid Up for 2/3 Years
Tyres could be dozed and cracked
I'd be checking the condition of the chain too
Throttle action needs checking....................... what fun when it sticks
is the clutch lifting correctly ?
Horn lights, indicators, brake lights all working ?
fuel filters clean ?
And before i rode it I'd be making very sure that the brakes are fully functioning
So many things to remember
