Hello Everybody

I am new & hopefully you will all be kind & maybe help me out as I am trying to restore a ZXR400 L1
My first problem is to get the bike running & keep it running! but seems a little reluctant to do so @
this point... I think it is the fuel pump (which works fine off the bike) so could someone advise me please
The feed (12v) to the pump I believe comes from the starter button then switches to vacuum ?
When I put a meter on the feed I only get 8v max reading on cracking ! should the pump see 12v when cranking ?

That was quick, what will be your next plan? Are you planning to install an aftermarket motorcycle exhaust?
