Starting issues
I have recently been having some starting issues with my X reg ZXR400. The bike is restricted to 35kw. It struggles to start and when it does, sounds as though its running rough and dies soon after. I have changed the spark plugs, the previous ones were blackened and wet with petrol (fuel mixture overly rich?) and checked HT leads are working correctly. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? Im assuming it has something to do with the carbs and the fuel:air mixture.

Re: Starting issues
Take the carbs off and give them a clean then set the mixtures to standard, see where it goes from there.
But if the plugs are wet it either means the plugs aren't sparking (ht leads, coils, plugs) or your running to rich
