That is for posting in an envelope...it does have to travel about 8000 miles...
If you can find cheaper posting let me know.

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
Fitted these on my bike last weekend been for a couple of rides since and the starter motor turns over so much better than it did. It still takes a while to fire at times but I think that's mainly down to my bike. All In all these wires definitely solve the problem and would recommend to anyone who's thinking of buying them. Thanks banner.

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
no problems, mine has issues every so often when its hot, but i think its because my pilots are set on the rich side, and when the bike gets hot im over fuelling it, so it needs some throttle to get some air in the engine. also i never need choke on the bike, even in winter, so i know its rich on the pilots.

Hi Banner,
I believe you're quoting the shipping costs from parcelforce? I'm looking at Royal Mail International Standard and a quote for 500g parcel is approx £7.90. Do you think that would be possible?
Cheers!

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
I usually use interparcel.com, obviously it doesn't check Royal Mail, yup £7.90 for up to 2kg...that's not bad is it.
Ok, pm me your address and I'll send you my PayPal details and a total price.
I need to buy sme more cable so I'll do that now as I'm all out...I'll cut yours and have them in the post before the end of next week.
Be aware, there is no tracking on this package, I'll get a proof of posting, but I can't track it for you.

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
got mine fitted last night ..
one set on my SP, one set on an H1..
sp still runs like a bag of shite.. but it hasnt failed to start and the battery seems to withstand repeated starting/swearing/testing sessions rather better.. especially well considering the ***** isnt actually charging properly
the H1 however .. i'll test later.. that has had hot start issues for ever.. but as its not mine and its untaxed .. testing could prove tricky (if i dont want to annoy the neighbours lol)

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
absolutey, lol
turned up on time, well made, fitted, seem to have helped..
hard to tell currently as the sp's being a twat (suspect the ignitor is fried) and ive not ridden the H1.. will report back here on how that behaves.
<edited to remove meandering whinge>

Re: Possible fix for slow starter motor speed with hot engin
H1 still a **** to start hot ..
spin, spin, spin, choke on, pop, pop, choke off, splutter, splutter, start ..
battery doesnt end up dead after a couple of attempts though, and she spins over more readily ..so thats an improvement
think its just a bit lean ... spoke to the owner (my boss) about taxing it so i can go and have a play somewhere bigger than our carpark
now .. which way is it again to richen up the pilot circuit ?
