I recently bought a set of restrictors off ebay (just the plates, no instructions), and was planning on fitting them myself and then having the bike dyno'd to prove 33bhp. I assumed you had to remove the rubber 'trumpets' from the entrance to the carbs and place the restictor plates there instead, but i was chatting with a friend of mine who's a mechanic, and he seemed to think it would be easier to fit them at the exhaust stage and that the bike would also run better if i did this.
As you guys have a lot more experience with bikes than he does, i was wondering is someone could clarify for me exactly where the restrictors are supposed to be fitted.
Many thanks
Graham
