Rev limiter
hi , could do with a bit of help!
just fitted L clocks to my H model bike & now it wont rev past 10 k
before with original clocks it would bury the needle in the red & do 145...
any one know how to remove the limiter?? maybe cut a wire or modify the rev counter??
or am i best fitting my old clocks back on???
any help much apprieciated!!

you may need that little black box thing, just behind ya speedo i think. I have to have this on my H, although ive got L rev and temp guages. Mines on a race loom, so im not sure of wiring etc tho......
I think you can substitute the black box thingy for a resister of some sort, but again im not sure what type......useless i know! Whats wrong with the H clocks anyhow?

what black box is this then???
im still pretty sure it must be a sensor of some sort in the rev counter!!!
tell ur what master ,i will take it apart and see!!! if it goes pear shaped will just put old one back!! if it goes well i ll take pics and maybe you can add them to the workshop area???
