Bought an L model SP without flatslides.
I changed the loom from SP back to L , as the SP loom was a bit ropey, and then had to change the CDI to fit the L Looom - I used the blue M CDI. The bike wouldn't run, until I remembered to change to ingnition pickup back to L too !
Now the bikes runs really well but the rev counter over reads by about 50%, it will go round to 20,000 rpm now ! Obviously, that isn't the correct figure cos the bike has been on the dyno loads of times.
Should I buy a UK rev counter to get the correct reading ? Or is there another fix ?

dont bother, its the same as any other one. Is the battery well charged? This has come up a few times before and thats usually been the problem.
