Which race can

Post by nick_c »

Hello, I have just got hold of a set of micron delta down pipes, but, no end can.

Does anyone know where I can get a new micron race can from?

Or can anyone recommend a different make of can that will fit the micron pipes?

Hello, yes it is a slip on can, I have not seen a micron race can, but, I assume it has some sort of clamp to tighten around the exit pipe.

I will send scorpon an e-mail.

at cost though. 63mm isn't a run of the mill size, its needs rolling or swaging out from 2 1/2"
I've been quoted £50 plus just for the pipe to be rolled, seam welded and then butt welded into a plate that will accept a bolt on can.

Cheer's for the replys, I googled exhaust technologies and it brings up Micron themselves, I have asked and they have no stock.

I will wait a few weeks and see if I can get hold of a second hand one, if not looks like I will be enquiring for a custom fit can.

Thanks again, Nick.

i asked carbon can co in january at excell show. they said no problem. at nec show they said no way! i found one from fuel, stainless stubby oval race delivered for 145 quid. sounds like a tank now rather than an asthmatic washing machine.
anything is possible with enough time and money. and an open mind...

No. I have no experience of setting a bike up. I have contacted road and track in Aylesbury, they have been highly recommended, I will be letting them do the work. He said a mixture of dyno jet parts and kawasaki parts was the best way to go about things.
