Anyway to remove pillion seat without the key?
I had a new key cut for my zxr which i use everyday, ive just gone to use it to take the pillion seat off to take the rear fairings off and the key wudnt go in, i managed to get the key in with abit of force but it wont turn the lock, i need to get the rear seat off so i can take the panels off to fix my electric problem. The original key has gone missing, i have 3 spares but none of them with turn the lock.
Any help much appreciated.

If it's broke spray it with WD40, if it's still broke spray it again and leave it over night, if it's still broke, bin it.

yes mate done it loads of times, just slide your hand up the LHS of the rear panel and you will feel the cable, just give it a good pull.

Also under the rear mudguard is a small hole that you can put your finger in and feel about for the catch.

I have twice had to do this to get the rear seat off and can guarantee there is a hole in the mudguard under the seat catch.
I does not look like its been drilled it looks standard.
Unless all models are different and some do not have this.
