Windscreen from Hong Kong - any feedback?

Post by vince67 »

hello gentlemen :-D

On Ebay a seller from Hong Kong proposes cheaper windscreens for ZXR400L, maybe some people on this forum have feedbacks about these parts?

are you looking for a clear screen?
Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

I bought one of those but it was tinted, it was literally a piece of acrylic moulded to nearly the right shape (took ages to fit), and the edges werent even finished well, had to rub down myself with wetndry paper.

If i was you i'd spend the little extra and get a genuine one!

yes :-D , ideally 3 clear screens because I have some fairings in advance ;-)

yes but genuine screens are expensive compared to these Chinese parts... and for 3 screens, the price is an important point... of course if the quality is acceptable...

i got some mirrors from hong kong and they were not good... not good at all! :smt010 :smt011 :smt012 :smt013 :smt014 :smt009 :smt017 :smt018 :smt019 :wanker shocking vsad id rather have got a decend second hand pair than crap new ones. though ive no idea if this will be the same scenario, im now steering clear of far eastern copies!
