Hello,

At some point I will need a compleate fairing, seat unit, tank, tank infill, front mud guard and a undertray painted black.

Would anyone know roughly how much this might be?

It is just black, no patterns or such.

I got a load of my mates race bodywork painted metalic blue (citroen saxo blue) and it came out at £100. but that was mates rates at my local car bodywork place

I painted a friends 675 last summer and it was $400 US (250 pounds?) just for the paint.

I had my wifes bike painted last year for £350.
That was 2 complete sets of bodywork minus 1 tank .
1 set black /orange. 1 set black / silver.
It was painted by a friend of a friend though.

I'm getting my ZXR400 L1 sprayed in Black for the grand total of £150!!!.....nice! Also my mate is getting his GSXR 400 Sprayed metalic Blue for the same at £150!!

For a decent paint shop to do all the prep/any repairs as well as painting, £600 is about right. If you're not doing the prep yourself painting gets bloody expensive, and rightly so. See how long it takes you sand 'em down etc and you'll see why. Especially as most people expect turnover in about 2 weeks
