I have a nasty scratch on my frame. Its a straight line, 10 cm long, and is deep enough to see the black under the paint coat. I don't have a picture of it because I don't have the bike close to me. On the below image I pointed out the area of the scratch.
Now I wonder... Is there a possibility to repaint only that area of the frame without visible differences between old and new paint coats? If not, how difficult is to remove all the parts from the frame? I'm thinking that removing the engine is not a big deal but I worry about removing the swingarm and steering.
Nasty scratch on frame. Repainting entire frame? How difficult?

Stripping the bike down to just the frame isn't that difficult a job. You just need to take your time, take plenty of pictures and use the manuals. I also have lots of small rubs which I label bolts etc.
Or you could get a touch up pen that's a close match and just touch up the frame like that
