Ebay fairings
Just been looking on ebay and came across the fairings from hong kong they look the part in the photos, i have heard stories of ill fitting ones and also good ones. What i am wondering is, are the colours going to be a match, for example is the blue the correct blue 36 and is the white pearl alpine white. Has anyone used this fairings?
Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ‘Holy toad, what a ride!

Re: Ebay fairings
Hi!
I’ve just ordered, and recieved, a complete fairing set from eBay. (ExCeL the gastank)
It cost me about 350€ and took three weeks to deliever to Norway (not bad). I ordered from www.auctmarts.com
Just started the swap, and it isnt all that bad! Just a few mm’s off on the pre drilled holes, but no struggle so far.
First inpression is Ok+. The paintjob is Ok+, agile but not thin plastic - overall nice swap for the daily use.
included heat shield, tank pad and bolts

Re: Ebay fairings
how is the quality of the front fairing where the air hoses connect to it...this has been my issue with the fiberglass replacement fairing i have from Skidmark, its very thick and wont allow the air hoses to go over, so ive had to cut them down and get the grinder out...
those look good

Re: Ebay fairings
No hazzle at all, straight fit with head light, steering bracket and air intake hoses. Some extra space between the mirror/airintake and upper fairing bracket, but tight enough to eliminate problems.

Re: Ebay fairings
Think I'm gonna go with these for mine, rather than getting my current ones vinyl wrapped.

Would recommend auctmarts, they also do custom paint jobs and requests
Anyhow, it’s good enough for daily riding in my opinion.

Re: Ebay fairings
They do look good. Will definitely get a set as I'm not happy with my fiberglass front fairing.
