opinons on colour scheme?

Post by Tom mccrea »

Ok guys and girls...

Im repairing my H1 plastics (not very well). Due to lack of funds oem are not possible. They are going to be far from perfect finish but my logic is do it myself for the experience and get it looking reasonable for whats left of the summer and get a track day or two, bearing in mind i'll probably bin it at some stage.

Im thinking of a mix of dark grey and bright orange?? sounds revolting but i think it might work. Specifically BMW sparkling graphite or ford midnight sky mixed with VW bright orange.

Then if it looks vomit inducing I will strip during the winter when I have more time, possibly change the colour and try to get the finish I want for the long term. I'm pretty sure of the dark grey shade but cant be definitive on the second...

Answers on a postcard....? :smt017

Sorry for the abusive pic.

but this is the type of grey that would look good against black.
Not over the top, in your face, lairy. But a subtle breakup and mix of glossy and not so shiny

I had a cbr600fs a few months ago.

It was stolen, used in a drive by shooting, written off.

hence the reason why im on a 400 again.
Its not nice jumping from £130 a year FC to £666 FC a year insurance.

christ!! did the insurance company take you out for dinner and give you a happy ending for that price? At least a reach-around?

Mine is an fw, cant think of a good reason to part with it so i'll not...the fs is a nice bike, good for a drive by too, nimble and quick enough to get away...a mate had one before he upgraded to zx10r
