Hey Folks,
Is anyone aware of a test for the oil pressure sensor. Have checked the manual but doesnt appear to list one

The test is the oil pressure , if the relief valve is jammed/fooked it will effect the reading. From memory they are a ball bearing on a spring the the oil flow pushes open - it either works or doesn't , you can manually push it open which if it does suggests it's ok . If the spring becomes lazy it might not fully close so low oil pressure if it's jammed closed then high pressure.
High oil pressure - relief valve and oil pick glogged.
Low pressure - relief valve and worn engine.
High oil pressure - relief valve and oil pick glogged.
Low pressure - relief valve and worn engine.
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !
