thats cos it plugs into the bike, in place of the clocks, not into the clocks.

I have taken a pic of the Jap (kph) speedo that I took off my bike. I now have a UK speedo on my Jap import. The panels are in for spraying tommorrow so should have them back by the weekend.

The cable arrowed is what plugs into the wiring behind the speedo. The UK one I bought doesn't have this either. Does this mean I need to get a bit (black box thingy) to plug into the wiring still on the bike?

Finally got the bike back on the road !! Yeehaaa!!

With the UK clock fitted and nothing plugged into the bike wiring loom from the speedo the bikes revs stopped at 10,000rpm. I am assuming this would mean changing the CDI for a UK one or getting the little black thing to plug in.

Instead of spending more money I have decided to fit the old KPH clock back on the bike. I can now get the full rev range but can't do more than 120mph. The UK one will be on Ebay soon :smt001
