i thought i had fixed my sidestand switch but not.
basically if i put bike in gear with stand down, the bike will still try to fire,
so i did the same thing but with stand up and held the switch all the way in with my thumb, and the bike wont start,.
so this suggests the stand aint pressin the switch in enuf. can i bend the lip on the stand a little to make it press switch in further? or put a sort of cap over end of switch so it has a few extra mm of travel? or change the switch?
or does the sidestand have adjestment on it?

switch will most likely have position adjustment, be a case of slacken its bolt off and reposition it id of thought

So it's working normally except you can start it when it's in gear with the stand down?
I'd say forget about it (well, actually I'd probably say "Ey! Forgeddaboudit, ya fokkin bum!") - unless your Neutral light doesn't work or you've got a habit of starting the bike in gear whilst stood next to it.
At least it's not stopping the bike moving!
