Swinging arm paddock stand bobbin thread size

Post by rocco »

Hi guys, I've just replaced my swinging arm with one that I've just had powder coated black. All went reasonably smooth, however when I went to fit my old paddock stand bobbins the bolts are to large (m12)?? Did some zxr 400 swinging arms come with an m10 sized thread for the paddock stand bobbins??

powdercoating can leave a layer close to 1mm thick, did you remember to blank off the threaded part of the swingarm?

i dont have bobbins on so i dont know what the correct size should be.

The powdercoaters I used blanked off all the bolt holes etc, just been looking on fleabay and there is a seller on there who sells bobbins with an m10 bolt for the zxr. Perhaps some did come with an m10 hole??

is there sufficient material to drill the hole out to 12mm?
