oh dear where to start eh??
forks are different diameters as you have found out so you will need the bottom yoke off the L model, wether this fits into the H frame i'm not sure?
you will also need the L discs, i'm assuming you are using L calipers? Also you will need to modify spacers to fit the H wheel into the forks, L mudguard as you have found.

Don't forget people there is more to the zxr400 than this forum... check out www.zxrworld.co.uk also.

calipers are interchangeable so keep the H model ones.I'm sure someone on here has fitted L forks to their H model just by opening the yokes up.

look nice dude.
L forks wont really work. different stem, yokes, fork length, waisted different..etc..
you would have to get the H stem fitted to the L bottom yoke. I would be concerned with the handling tho!.. ive tried dropping my forks to i guess what would be the same length as the L forks.. and it does'nt handle.
I would just sell them L jobbies and get some H ones meself...
edit... like your allready planning in ya other posts!

they look nice forks mate... unfortunatley they are only worth about 120ish. i think at 250 or 290?? you may of paid over the odds
You can get more than that for worked on forks off a known bike/racer.
they are L forks by the way, not J model ones. J model forks are very rare and would fit your bike.
