now i only wanna hear from people who have had pattern part front brake seals and had them let go, plenty of people here will say "dont buy them", without having experienced the seals going off themselfs.
i was wondering as cradleys will sell me 8 sets for £103, where as wemoto will sell me 8 pairs for £42...
so if you have bought some and they are toad let me know, if you have had good experience with them let me know too.

Re: kawasaki seals or pattern parts?
I rebuilt all three calipers on my bike in 2010 using Wemoto seals and 3k miles later my brakes are still perfect. I would have no hesitation in both using them again and recommending them to others.

thats all i need to hear, plus the 60 quid saved = braided lines and a bleedable 2-hose banjo bolt for master cylinder

Yes, you will definitely get air trapped there. You don't need one of these - you can just crack the banjo loose - but it's less messing and you might as well while you've got it all in bits.banner001 wrote: and a bleedable 2-hose banjo bolt for master cylinder

Re: kawasaki seals or pattern parts?
precisely, and its like £4, so ill get one
of on holiday then ive got £400 of parts to fit
thats 2 new forks, front brake lines, front brake seals, front brake master cylinder internals, downpipes, new front brake pads, rebuilt engine and non-leaking sump.
gonna feel like a new bike, maybe with the valve clearances and cam chain issues sorted, plus the new downpipes (minus 4 massive holes), bike might finally make its rated 64bhp as opposed to its old 54bhp...though that was with the old chain with +80mm of slack
next thing to tackle is i think i have air leaking round the carb manifold...will get some cleaner and test it, i get the "revs hanging" at ~2k and bogging down at low revs that other people have reported as being leaking carb manifolds...we will see when its all reassembled.
