Run a higher idle speed........that will help. Consider setting up the slipper clutch properly. and use the clutch more.

braked hard the other day not hard on the back and it locked up maybe it was the road surface

I am getting some new tyres and bearings fitted at weekend, so will try her out again then - Taking it more steady to not shag my tyres.
